Detection Dogs

The K-9 Training Academy provides comprehensive training programmes for detection dogs. We offer professional and discreet commercial detection dog services to assist our clients in providing a safe and secure environment. Our services can easily be tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

All of our detection (sniffer) dogs are initially trained at our Academy in Georgetown, Guyana or Kent in the UK. However, a majority of their maintenance training is conducted in the demanding field environments where they are required to work. We utilize airports, ports, warehouses, office complexes, schools, residences, arenas and even busy city streets for the regular training sessions that these dogs require to maintain their detection skills at the highest level.

Our dog handlers and trainers have years of experience in working with detection dogs of all types in both law enforcement and civilian settings. We have many years of experience in training detection dogs and handlers for law enforcement and military handlers across the globe.

We proudly provide detection dogs that are highly trained to exceed national standards and whose skills are maintained daily to ensure the utmost detection proficiency. Our dogs are meticulously tested, selected and trained to ensure that they are the best detection dogs available. Our dogs and handlers are stationed throughout Europe and Guyana but can easily be deployed globally.
